I am a first-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at UIUC, advised by Prof. Saurabh Gupta. Prior to this, I got my MS degree in Computer Science through a joint training at Xi'an Jiaotong University & IIIS, Tsinghua University, under the supervision of Prof. Andrew C. Yao. I was fortunate to collaborate closely with Prof. Kaisheng Ma, Prof. Li Yi and Prof. He Wang. Research | News | Publications | Software | Honors | Service |
Research
I enjoy working on interesting and cool things that fascinate me, and I am currently trying to build scalable, generalizable & human-centered robotic and vision models. I am enthusiastic about contributing to the research community and I support Slow Science. I am currently working in several main areas:
- Legged Robot Learning including (mainly) humanoid and quadruped robots
- Robot Learning from Demonstrations including human videos and mocap data
Other areas of work recently and in the past include:
- Foundation & Generative models
- Visual representation learning
